New Season Starting
Hello again and welcome to a new forum, its the end of March and lots of plants are now waking up after the winter rest. It is always a great time of year to see plants coming alive again so I am sharing just a few from the greenhouse to give you a glimpse of what is happening. It is great to see things starting to grow after a such a miserable gloomy and wet time we have had in the previous months, at least the temperatures were not too bad so heating was not a major drama.
I am well pleased with the Euphorbia bongalavensis it is really looking good, this is one plant that unfortunately I have not seen in habitat, who knows one day I might get to the place.. Also looking good are some of the Pachypodium, alaways a relief to see them come into growth. Nice also to see the Didieria coming along and something special is the first beginning of the Dorstenia gigas coming into flower, lets hope that it develops a good crop of flowers this year.
I will keep you updated on progress as the seasons unfold, but for now good growing to you all.
