Plant Forum Number 3

In The Collection

Just a few pictures of plants in the collection at the end of the season, pictures were taken in early September so wont be long before all the leafy plants start to drop their leaves ready for winter shutdown.

The temperature will be maintained at around 17 Degrees over the winter period with just a little moisture given to some plants.

You can see how well the Euphorbia monteroi has performed this year by the amount of seed pods produced, I think it has given me about 28 seeds so hopefully there will be some seedling plants coming in the near future.

The Euphorbia abdel-kuri has produced some flowers but so tiny you nearly miss them , nothing to get too exited about.

However the Euphobia primulifolia that have had their tubers completely buried are looking really good and as you can see have produced a lot of nice leaf rosette. I hope these survive the winter period, they can be notoriously tricky to keep alive.

Few more plants to be added shortly in the next forum.
